Mayor highlights local sports’ successful season with Atlético Marbella Paraíso and Pablo Picasso Femenino’s promotions to Tercera RFEF
The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has praised the outstanding season of the local clubs during the reception for C.D. Atlético Marbella Paraíso and Pablo Picasso C.F. Senior Femenino, two football teams that have achieved promotion to Tercera RFEF and, as she emphasized, ‘are taking our city’s name to the top of sports’. At the recognition event, the mayor, accompanied by councilor Lisandro Vieytes, congratulated both teams for a success she described as ‘a source of pride for everyone’ and highlighted the effort behind these achievements, ‘especially considering they are athletes who balance their passion for football with their studies or work commitments’. ‘This shows their immense dedication and enthusiasm. Being able to compete with teams from provincial capitals now is a great joy,’ she stated.
