Marbella reaffirms its leadership in Andalusia with the hoisting of ten Blue Flags recognizing the quality of its beaches and ports
The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, attended today the ceremony to hoist the ten Blue Flags awarded to the municipality in 2026, a recognition that once again places the city as the first in Andalusia by the number of these distinctions and among the top ten Spanish municipalities with the highest presence of this international award. The mayor emphasized that ‘it is a pride to have achieved it because it is not easy to consolidate this leadership with the magnificent coastline that we have in our autonomous community’ and highlighted the work carried out throughout the year to maintain high quality standards on the coast.
