II Memorial Ana Mesa Football Tournament to be Held by City Council
The City Council will celebrate the II Memorial Ana Mesa on Friday, July 24, a football tournament that will bring together players, family, friends, and fans to pay tribute to one of the most beloved and representative figures of grassroots sports in Nueva Andalucía. The event was presented by the district councilor, Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, alongside the sports delegation advisor, Juan Jesús Cabrera, and the honoree’s daughter, Estefanía Mesa. Ortiz de Zárate emphasized that Ana Mesa was not only a role model as a woman, friend, and mother but also as a great football entrepreneur who dedicated her life to promoting this sport and training generations of children and young people. The councilor expressed gratitude to the Sports Department, organizers, participating teams, referees, collaborators, and Ana Mesa’s family for making another edition of the memorial possible.
