Real Madrid Basketball Team to Play in San Pedro Alcántara for the First Time
San Pedro Alcántara will host a game between Real Madrid and La Laguna Tenerife on September 11 as part of the XV Costa del Sol Basketball Tournament. The match will take place at the Sergio Scariolo Pavilion. The event was announced by the Sports Councillor, Lisandro Vieytes, and the deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García. Vieytes expressed gratitude to the Diputación de Málaga and Turismo Costa del Sol for selecting San Pedro Alcántara as one of the tournament venues, bringing top-level teams to the city. He highlighted the excitement of witnessing Real Madrid, a strong contender each season, and La Laguna Tenerife, a semifinalist from the previous season, in action.
