Municipality to complete selection process for 11 new firefighters this month
The Municipality is finalizing the selection process this August for the incorporation of 11 new firefighters to the Fire Department, who will join the 54 recruits hired in recent years. The goal is for the successful candidates to be in the academy and on practical duty before the end of the year. The process has been described as complex and lengthy, aiming to fill much-needed positions as soon as possible.
