Summer Maintenance and Improvement Works in San Pedro Alcántara’s Public Schools
The City Council is carrying out conservation and improvement works during the summer months in the five public preschools and primary schools in San Pedro Alcántara as part of the municipal maintenance plan for these facilities. The goal is to take advantage of the non-teaching period to carry out major works without disrupting the normal school activities. The deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, mentioned that the program has an annual budget of 300,000 euros and complements the continuous interventions by operational services throughout the school year in areas such as masonry, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, electricity, gardening, and incident management. He also added that the summer works are coordinated with the school administrations to address the specific needs of each educational community.
