Local Government Supports Approval of Special Plan Advancement in El Potril, San Pedro Alcántara
The local government has held an informative meeting with residents of the El Potril area in San Pedro Alcántara to present the advancement of the Special Plan for Environmental and Territorial Adaptation (PEAAT), which will define the environmental and territorial boundaries of the area and initiate the necessary procedures to provide basic services and promote its future integration into the urban network. The meeting was attended by the deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, and the councilor for Urban Planning, José Eduardo Díaz, who explained the document’s contents and the administrative process that follows its initial approval. García emphasized that the main goal of this initiative is to ‘pave the way so that in the future, the existing homes in the area can have a water supply network, a sanitation network, and eventually undergo urban integration.’
