Mayor highlights digital transformation and economic growth in city’s business sector

Mayor Ángeles Muñoz highlighted today the digital transformation of the business sector and the economic growth that the city is experiencing during the diploma ceremony of the Marbellup program’s first edition, which has trained over 800 self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs since September. The mayor, accompanied by the economic development and SMEs advisor, Alejandro Freijo, expressed satisfaction in seeing how the program’s contents have been translated into concrete projects through a total of eight free modules, both in-person and online, aiming to provide participants with tools to work more efficiently, productively, and competitively. She also stated that their goal is to provide all necessary resources to support entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals in improving and realizing their ideas.
