Marbella Welcomes 182,000 Visitors in the First Four Months of 2025

Marbella has received around 182,000 visitors in the first four months of the year and has seen a 10% increase in hotel employment and a 3% rise in hotel profitability compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). The industry’s general director, Laura de Arce, stated that ‘this is a very positive trend, indicating a recovery and sustained growth in the tourism sector in the municipality,’ noting that ‘occupancy rates are also following this trend’ with a total of 58.02% in the first four months. Regarding employment, she specified that ‘the trajectory continues to rise’ with an average figure from January to April of 3,020 workers compared to 2,749 the previous year.
