Marbella Maintains Position as One of Europe’s Most Profitable Destinations in October
Marbella has once again strengthened its position as one of the leading tourist destinations in Europe by recording a hotel occupancy rate of 72.16 percent in October, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE). Despite this figure being slightly lower than the previous year, it is set against a backdrop of a higher number of open establishments, which contributes to a broader and more diverse offering. During that month, the city welcomed 68,421 travelers, with 14,687 coming from the domestic market and 53,734 from the international market. The total number of overnight stays reached 246,233, with an average stay of 3.60 nights, reflecting the strength of our municipality among both Spanish and foreign visitors, especially within the high purchasing power segment.
