Marbella City Council Supports Neighborhood Associations in Celebrating Andalusia Day

The Marbella City Council has shown its support for the neighborhood associations El Cruce, El Barrio, and El Mirador de la Torrecilla, which will celebrate Andalusia Day with music, dance performances, a popular paella, and traditional breakfasts and snacks. Councilor Enrique Rodríguez highlighted the significance of February 28th in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, emphasizing the celebration of history, culture, traditions, and the community spirit of the Andalusian people. He expressed gratitude for the involvement of the associations and underscored the symbolic importance of February 28th as a day of identity, pride, and unity for all Andalusians. The commemoration marks the 1980 referendum that granted Andalusia autonomy and unity, inviting all residents to participate in the scheduled events and celebrate this important festivity together.
