Local Council Supports May Cross Charity Event for Student Battling Leukemia
The councilor of Citizen Participation, Enrique Rodríguez, presented the May Cross of the Neighborhood Association Las Albarizas, which this year has joined efforts with the AMPA Fernando Magallanes of the CEIP Santa Teresa to organize a charity event whose proceeds will go to Ángel, an eight-year-old student of the school currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. The event will take place at Plaza Ramón Martínez, next to the City of Marbella theater, starting at 12:00 pm. It will feature performances by Araceli González, D´Jarana, local dance schools María la Flamenca, Alba Donoso, and the group of Gema Piña. For the little ones, there will be children’s entertainment by Mimosín, as well as a solidarity bar with affordable prices for all attendees. Additionally, the event will have the solidarity collaboration of the Cultural Veterans collective, as detailed by the councilor.
