Marbella City Council Approves Honorary Citizenship for 17 Residents in Recognition of Their Professional and Personal Achievements
The April ordinary session of the city council has definitively approved the granting of the title of Honorary Citizens to 17 residents, one of the highest distinctions awarded by the City Hall. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, emphasized that this recognition, to be officially conferred on May 9, ‘values individuals who are part of the collective legacy and who embody effort, generosity, and commitment to Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara,’ highlighting that ‘they have contributed, from various fields, to make a more caring municipality with greater social wealth.’ The mayor stressed that ‘with their careers in sectors such as business, healthcare, sports, or culture, they have helped build a better city for everyone.’
