City Council Promotes Environmental Education Through Free Guided Tours in Protected Areas

The City Council continues to prioritize environmental education by organizing 10 free guided tours through protected areas for the 2025/26 edition of the ‘Nature Outings’ program, with 500 participants expected. Eloy Ortega, the Parks and Gardens advisor, unveiled the initiative today, featuring four family-friendly excursions and six more challenging hiking days scheduled between October 26 and April 26 of the following year, all part of the Environmental Education Program.
