Municipality Renews Indoor Soccer Field at El Arquillo Sports Complex
The municipality is carrying out a comprehensive renovation of the indoor soccer field at the El Arquillo sports complex in San Pedro Alcántara. This initiative involves a municipal investment of 38,000 euros and a three-week construction period. The goal of the project is to enhance the safety of the facility, address issues caused by aging, and provide a high-performance surface for sports activities. The Deputy Mayor of San Pedro Alcántara, Javier García, highlighted that this renovation is part of an ongoing improvement plan for the complex, following last year’s refurbishment of the basketball and minibasketball courts. This intervention fulfills a commitment to users and sports clubs utilizing the indoor soccer field, addressing the wear and tear experienced by the surface over time and under different weather conditions.
