Marbella Records Lowest Unemployment Rate in July in the Past 19 Years
Marbella closed July with 5,924 unemployed individuals, the lowest number in the past 19 years and the first time below 6,000 since 2007. The Director General of Employment, Alejandro Freijo, highlighted that the municipality has 131 fewer job seekers than in June of the current year. He emphasized that the year-on-year trend has seen a decrease of nearly 800 unemployed individuals in the last twelve months, as there were 6,722 job seekers in July 2025. This marks a truly historic milestone for the city’s job market, reflecting a very positive and sustained trajectory.
