Municipality Launches New Neighborhood Cleaning Points to Improve Response Times
The municipality is advancing its strategy of decentralizing municipal services by establishing a new neighborhood cleaning point on Magallanes street. This initiative will bring the work teams closer to the neighborhoods of Puya, Albarizas, and the vicinity of the municipal stadium, enhancing response capacity, reducing daily travel for workers, and promoting more efficient resource management. The councilor in charge, Diego López, highlighted that city cleaning involves not only sweeping streets but also requires significant organization and logistics to optimize each workday. The existing room at this location is being expanded and renovated to 120 square meters, accommodating male and female changing rooms, storage, and offices for municipal service staff.
