San Pedro Alcántara Completes Renovation of Street Lighting in Four Roads in the South Area with Installation of 39 New LED Lamp Posts

The City Council has finished the comprehensive renovation of public lighting in four important roads in the southern area of San Pedro Alcántara, with the installation of 39 new lamp posts using LED technology. The project, with an investment of 48,000 euros and a one-month execution period, took place in Salamanca Avenue, Santiago de Compostela Avenue, Agricultor José Urbano Street, and Juan José Torquemada Street. Deputy Mayor Javier García stated that this intervention is part of the municipal progressive renovation plan aimed at replacing the old sodium vapor luminaires. He added that this initiative builds on previous work in the area and revealed plans to expand such infrastructure to the northern urban area.
