Marbella City Council Enhances Security and Tree Conservation on Mediterranean Avenue

The Marbella City Council has completed pruning, felling, and management of plant waste on Mediterranean Avenue in San Pedro Alcántara. A total of 204 palm trees and trees were intervened to ensure public safety, improve the phytosanitary condition of the trees, and preserve the landscape quality of this important urban axis. The deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, stated that this action reaffirms the Council’s commitment to maintaining municipal green heritage, continuous improvement of public spaces, and the safety of residents and visitors. The executed tasks included the removal of dry leaves and unstable branches, the elimination of vegetative material susceptible to detachment, the adaptation of tree canopies to ensure the necessary clearance for vehicle passage, and the improvement of visibility of streetlights and road signs.
