City Council Approves Extraordinary Credit Supplement for Public Works

The City Council has approved today, in an extraordinary and urgent session, a credit supplement of 4.7 million euros for public works investment in 2026. The proposal, supported by the PP party, with OSP and VOX abstaining, and opposed by the PSOE, will come into effect after the corresponding payment has been formalized and can be implemented from January 1st. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz stated that this modification is funded by higher revenue collection compared to the budget forecast for this year, particularly in municipal land assets, and highlighted that this increase will strengthen key projects for the city, addressing real needs in terms of facilities.
