New Platform Endorsed by City Council to Simplify Hiring Local Artists and Reduce Bureaucracy
The City Council has endorsed a new platform aimed at streamlining the hiring process for local artists and removing bureaucratic obstacles. Youth Councillor, Alejandro González, presented the initiative today alongside its creator, Miguel Ortiz, stating that ‘it is a very useful tool that will allow these professionals to work legally and access more opportunities, both with the City Council and private companies.’ He emphasized that ‘administrative procedures can be a barrier because we come across young people, especially those starting out, who want to participate in events but cannot do so as they are not self-employed.’ He noted that ‘now a real solution is being offered to break down that barrier and speed up the entire process.’
