Marbella Recognizes Sustainable Practices of Local Businesses and Strengthens Commitment to Responsible Tourism Model
The City Council, through the Department of Economic Development and SMEs, has held a new meeting as part of its sustainability and social economy strategy, where it has recognized the good practices that different companies in the municipality are implementing to move towards a more efficient, innovative, and environmentally friendly economic and tourism model. The meeting brought together several companies and establishments in Marbella that shared the actions they are already taking in terms of solar energy, efficient water management, recycling, paper reduction, and process digitalization. Among the recognized companies are Occidental Puerto Banús, Lima Marbella, El Fuerte, Marbella Club Hotel, and Hard Rock Marbella, which represent tangible examples of commitment and transformation towards a more sustainable model.
