New Athletics Stadium Coming to Nueva Andalucía: City Council Approves Construction Proposal
The City Council has approved the proposal to award the construction of the future Athletics Stadium in Nueva Andalucía, a project that will involve an investment of 11.2 million euros and will transform the La Campana area. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, announced after the Local Government Board meeting held in this district that the project will feature a 400-meter athletics track with eight lanes and an 11-a-side artificial turf football field. She also mentioned that work is expected to commence before the end of the year, once the award is definitively formalized, and assured that the financing is fully secured with municipal resources and European funds.
