Local Government Initiates Renaturalization Efforts at Guadaiza River

The local government has begun the initial actions outlined in the project for renaturalization and flood risk mitigation of the Guadaiza River, focusing on the removal of invasive species and cleaning the riverbed. Deputy Mayor of San Pedro Alcántara, Javier García, along with the Head of Service for Works and Projects of the Tenencia, Antonio Mejías, visited the site today, emphasizing the importance of these first steps in addressing the progressive deterioration of the river due to invasive flora and waste accumulation.
