Leila Guerriero and María Terremoto Close Marpoética Festival in Marbella

Argentinian journalist Leila Guerriero and flamenco artist María Terremoto closed the eighth edition of the Marpoética festival in Marbella last night with an emotional gala that brought the audience at the Marbella City Theater to their feet. The closing event explored the connections between journalism and poetry through a conversation with one of the most important voices in Spanish narrative journalism. Guerriero shared insights about her childhood, early discovery of poetry, and how those readings shaped her perspective and writing style. ‘I steal a lot from poetry, I steal the resource, that way of saying a lot with little, the austerity,’ she admitted.
