Marbella Requests Debt Forgiveness and Revenue Increase from Central Government
The City Council has unanimously agreed to request debt forgiveness and a 5% increase in state revenue sharing from the central government. The proposal aims to provide economic relief to municipalities, highlighting Marbella’s unique situation. Additionally, requests were made for direct access roads between AP-7 highway and Istán road, and approvals were given for public spaces to be named after local figures. Furthermore, initiatives were passed to support local businesses, improve infrastructure, and promote gender equality.
