Marbella Chosen for New Davis Cup Tie, Boosting City’s Sporting Profile
The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has praised the selection of Marbella to host a Davis Cup tie once again, scheduled to take place between September 12 and 14 at the Puente Romano Tennis Club. The event will feature Spain and Denmark facing off. Muñoz emphasized, ‘This reaffirms our city’s status as a sports hub and host of major international competitions.’ She highlighted that ‘the club, with its iconic ‘Manolo Santana’ court, has witnessed historic tennis moments and will once again buzz with another top-level sporting event.’
