Final Phase of Renovation Works at City Hall Nearing Completion
The City Council is making progress on the comprehensive renovation of the City Hall in Plaza de los Naranjos, with the final phase underway and expected to be completed by the end of this year. The intervention aims to modernize one of the main municipal buildings, enhance efficiency, improve accessibility, and adapt spaces to current administrative needs while preserving the property’s most valuable heritage elements. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited the facilities and explained the need for a thorough intervention due to the age of the installations and their functional and energy limitations. The renovation includes a complete overhaul of the air conditioning, replacement of exterior carpentry to enhance thermal insulation, and a new layout to facilitate the daily work of various services.
