Marbella opens new parking lot with 113 spaces on Maíz Viñals avenue
The City Council has completed the creation of 113 new surface parking spaces on Maíz Viñals avenue, an initiative aimed at improving mobility and providing parking for residents of Santa Marta, Pilar Miraflores, and the surroundings of La Represa park. The project was carried out in phases as part of the District Maintenance Plan to minimize traffic disruptions, offering users new parking spaces in a high-demand area. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz visited the site and emphasized that this intervention was in response to requests from neighborhood associations and district directors. The council considered it a priority to increase parking availability following significant investments in new facilities near La Represa park. This space will serve not only the Old Town but also several neighborhoods in Marbella, necessitating the strengthening of infrastructure to complement its transformation.
