Municipality Renews Support for AFIMAR with New Collaboration Agreement
The municipality has reaffirmed its support for AFIMAR by renewing an annual collaboration agreement, endowed with over 22,000 euros, to cover current expenses and the development of activities aimed at improving the quality of life for people with fibromyalgia. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted the ‘great work’ of this association, which serves around 60 users and their families, providing counseling, awareness, psychological and group support, physical activity, and companionship. The councilor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, emphasized ‘the municipal commitment to the associative fabric and the promotion of initiatives that enhance comprehensive care, health, and well-being of the population.’ She also underscored the entity’s work ‘to seek normality in the daily lives of families in the best possible way.’
