Marbella Sets Historic Record in Hotel Employment and Tourist Arrivals for June
Marbella reached a record high in hotel employment in June, with 84.6% more workers compared to the same period in 2025 and the highest level ever recorded. Additionally, it saw the highest number of tourists for this month in the last four years, according to the latest official data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). Laura de Arce, the city’s general director of tourism, highlighted that over 82,000 visitors stayed in Marbella’s hotels, marking a 19.9% increase from the previous June. The city also achieved historic highs in profitability, demonstrating its strength at the beginning of the peak season.
