Marbella Congress Palace Renovation Reaches 95% Completion
The Marbella City Council is entering the final stretch of sustainable rehabilitation works, energy conversion, and climate change adaptation of the Adolfo Suárez Trade Fair and Congress Palace. The project, which is 95% complete, is expected to be finished in approximately two weeks. The initiative is part of the Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan and is funded by the European Union-NextGenerationEU as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan. After ten months of work, workers are finalizing the installation of over 500 photovoltaic solar panels to generate clean energy to supply not only the facility but also part of its surroundings, significantly reducing the energy consumption of these municipal installations.
