Marbella Hosts Inaugural ‘Schuster & Friends’ Charity Tournament
Marbella will host today and tomorrow the charity golf tournament ‘Schuster & Friends’, an initiative led by former footballer and coach Bernd Schuster making its first appearance in the city. The event will bring together over 90 participants connected to sports, culture, entertainment, and communication at the Santa Clara Golf facilities. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz, present at the competition’s start, emphasized the event’s significant promotional impact and its charitable nature in support of cancer research. ‘It’s a great opportunity to showcase how life is lived here to the world,’ stated the mayor, highlighting that sports are a key attraction of the destination and a vital tool for boosting year-round tourism.
