Marbella to Address the Role of Citizens in Forest Fire Prevention at Forum on May 7

The Department of Sustainability and Environment of the Andalusian Regional Government, in collaboration with the City Council, will hold the Collective Reflection Forum ‘What can we do as a community in forest fire prevention?’ in Marbella on May 7. The initiative aims to strengthen preventive culture and citizen involvement in addressing such emergencies. The event will take place at the Aula del Mar del Faro from 11:00 to 14:00 and will involve residents, technical staff, and stakeholders in land management. This activity is part of the Awareness and Education Program for Sustainability, focused on adapting to and mitigating natural risks associated with climate change, and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021–2027.
