Marbella Renews Alliance with ProDunas Association to Promote Respect for Dune Ecosystems
The City Council, through the Department of Environment and Beaches, has renewed its collaboration with the ProDunas Marbella Association in the development of the 2025/26 Environmental Education Programs. This initiative aims to promote respect, understanding, and conservation of the dune ecosystems along the city’s coastline among schoolchildren. The councilor, Diego López, emphasized the importance of the initiative and the collective’s efforts in raising awareness among the younger generation about caring for the natural environment. He further explained that the goal of these activities, scheduled until June 2026, is to help elementary and secondary school students appreciate the value of these spaces and convey that message to their families, friends, and community.
