City Council launches ‘Keep the Old Town Clean’ campaign with distribution of 1,500 informative brochures

The City Council has launched the ‘Keep the Old Town Clean’ campaign, which includes the distribution of 1,500 informative brochures in Spanish and English ‘door to door’ at each establishment, to raise awareness among merchants and residents about caring for the historic center. District West councilor Alejandro González and Commerce advisor Carmina Serrano have presented this initiative, part of the Grand Cities Tourist Plan of the Andalusian Government, whose main objective is to ‘strengthen shared responsibility to maintain this crown jewel of the city in perfect condition.’ The councilor highlighted that the Cleaning department ‘works constantly in this area, but citizen collaboration is essential to maintain the image of the Old Town, a reference point for visitors and residents.’
