Progress Update on Modernization Works at the Town Hall
The comprehensive modernization works at the Town Hall have surpassed the halfway point of their execution, with 60 percent of the planned tasks completed. The councilor in charge, Diego López, has stated that the project is progressing well according to the established schedule and is now entering a new phase focused on interior finishes and the final adaptation of spaces. Lopez further explained that the project is advancing at a very good pace, meeting the set deadlines, allowing them to confidently approach the final stretch of an essential intervention to modernize one of the city’s most iconic buildings. Currently, all facility conduits are being finalized, temporary connections with the adjacent building are being made until the completion of the work, and the roof is being waterproofed along with the construction of the new emergency staircase.
