Municipality Takes Urgent Action on El Faro and La Fontanilla Beaches After Severe Storm Damage
The Municipality has immediately started sand replenishment and mechanical reshaping works on El Faro and La Fontanilla beaches to restore their natural balance and prevent further damage caused by the storms in January and February. The central areas of the coastline have been particularly affected by severe structural erosion, with beach width reduced to just three meters in some key points. The operations will take place from 6:00 to 14:00, Monday to Saturday, and are expected to last about two weeks. Similar interventions will follow on the west section of Nagüeles Beach, also heavily impacted by recent storms.
