Municipality Strengthens Collaboration with Principito Association Supporting Families with Autism
The municipality has reinforced its collaboration with the Principito Association, which supports over 150 families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has signed the 2025 collaboration agreement with the association’s president, Virginia García, increasing the grant amount to over 25,000 euros from the previous year’s nearly 18,000 euros, ‘so they can continue their essential work of counseling, support, and therapy.’ ‘This support is crucial for an organization that has seen a continuous growth in the number of users they serve,’ emphasized the mayor, highlighting ‘they perform a role that the administration alone cannot reach, especially in the emotional support realm.’ The mayor stated, ‘we are absolutely proud to have an entity born from families’ will that provides much-needed care.’
