Mayor welcomes UD San Pedro after promotion to Tercera RFEF
The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has welcomed UD San Pedro today after their promotion to Tercera RFEF and highlighted the club’s ‘exceptional sports year’ coinciding with its 50th anniversary. The Mayor congratulated the board and the team ‘for their great work’ and emphasized that, in addition to the achievement of promotion to a higher category, ‘we had the opportunity to see the team playing against Celta, a club from La Liga, in the Copa del Rey.’ The Mayor, accompanied by the deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, and the Sports councilor, Lisandro Vieytes, stated that ‘they will continue to have the support of the City Council,’ while expressing confidence that ‘the next season will be as successful as this one.’
