Mayor highlights hotel sector investment to strengthen city’s excellence position during ME Marbella Hotel opening

The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, highlighted last night the investment of the hotel sector to strengthen the city’s excellence position during the opening of the Hotel ME by Meliá Marbella, located in Puerto Banús, a complex that reaches the five-star category, with 20 million euros allocated to its construction, reinforcing the municipality’s position as a quality tourist destination. Muñoz, accompanied by the regional government delegate in Málaga, Patricia Navarro; the president of the Provincial Council, Francisco Salado, and the group’s top executive, Gabriel Escarrer, among other authorities, thanked the company “for its strong commitment to the locality”, emphasizing that “Marbella has been the leading Andalusian destination in the number of beds in five-star and luxury establishments for years.”
