Marbella’s Old Town to Receive Decorative Trash Bins as Urban Art
The City Council, through the Commerce department and the West district, will install fifty decorative trash bins transformed into urban art in Marbella’s Old Town. This initiative, part of the Grand Cities Tourism Plan of Andalusia, aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the most central streets with high visitor traffic in the municipality, as highlighted by the West district councilor, Alejandro González. This effort complements the recent installation of canvases in various locations in the historic center, especially in vacant lots and unused buildings, to convert degraded spaces into visually appealing areas.
