Marbella Sets Historic Record for Tourism Employment in February and Extends Average Stay to 2.87 Days
Marbella set a historic record for tourism employment in the month of February, with 2,990 people employed in hotel establishments, compared to 2,781 in the same period the previous year. This represents a 7.5 percent increase, according to the Hotel Occupancy Survey by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), which also showed an average price per hotel room exceeding 136 euros, reflecting a 6.1 percent increase from February 2025.
