Marbella Resumes School Sports Games with Orienteering Race
The Marbella City Council is resuming the School Sports Games this week with the first event being an orienteering race taking place on April 14, 15, and 16 at Nagüeles Park. The event will bring together 1,200 students (400 per day) from public, private, and charter schools in mixed groups. The sports councilor, Lisandro Vieytes, mentioned that around 8,000 students will participate in the Sports Games throughout the year, with the final event scheduled for late 2025. New additions to this year’s edition include beach sports disciplines like beach volleyball and beach tennis in line with important national competitions held in the municipality. National federations will be collaborating for the successful organization of these events.
