Marbella City Council Approves €2.5 Million Legacy Donation for Elderly Care
Marbella City Council has approved the acceptance of a €2.5 million legacy donation from entrepreneur Paolo Ghirelli, founder of La Meridiana restaurant. Ghirelli, who passed away in August, designated the inheritance to be used for the care and well-being of the elderly. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz praised the gesture as one of great generosity and commitment to the municipality, highlighting Ghirelli’s altruistic spirit and longstanding involvement in the town’s social, cultural, and gastronomic scene.
