Marbella Celebrates Feast of the Virgen del Carmen Coronada
Marbella celebrated today the feast of its Patroness, the Virgen del Carmen Coronada, with a massive participation in religious and traditional events organized both in the city center and in the El Ingenio neighborhood in San Pedro Alcántara. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, accompanied residents, brotherhoods, and groups during a day marked by devotion and the roots of one of the most emblematic commemorations of the municipality. The day began with the Dawn Rosary and a procession to Cable Beach, where a mass was held by the Bishop of Malaga, Monseñor José Antonio Satué Huerto. Subsequently, the image of the Patroness led the traditional blessing of the waters and the maritime procession between the La Bajadilla Fishing Port and the Virgen del Carmen Marina, before returning by land to its temple and parading through the streets of the historic center in the Procession of Praise in the afternoon.
