Marbella Becomes World Capital of Health Tourism with WHTC Congress

Marbella becomes the world capital of health tourism until tomorrow with the celebration of the 14th edition of the World Health Tourism Congress (WHTC), bringing together over 250 industry agents at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos Adolfo Suárez. The first deputy mayor, Félix Romero, and the general director of the sector, Laura de Arce, attended today the event’s inauguration, which over two days will connect healthcare companies from across Europe with major corporate buyers of medical care from the Middle East, Africa, and Europe itself. The councilor emphasized that ‘we are one of the major destinations associated with this segment’ and stressed that ‘we have a perfect blend of services and climate for medical stays or recovery.’
