Local Police Headquarters Hosts Open Day for Neighborhood Associations

The Local Police Headquarters hosted an open day today for neighborhood associations in the municipality with the aim of introducing them to the functioning of the service and continuing to improve security in the districts. The councilor in charge, José Eduardo Díaz, accompanied by the councilor for Citizen Participation, Enrique Rodríguez, stated that ‘it is a pilot experience that is intended to continue and represents a further step in the reorganization we are carrying out in this area to provide the closest and most effective response possible to citizens’ and explained that ‘it is essential for the groups to know firsthand how the work is done, the level of commitment, and the importance of the daily work carried out by the force.’ He also mentioned that ‘we have also informed them about the coexistence ordinance, which regulates issues such as street vending, vandalism, garbage disposal hours, noise, and for which it is essential to have their cooperation.’
