Local Council Resumes School Sports Games and Offers Over 8,000 Free Spots

The local council has resumed the School Sports Games and is offering over 8,000 free spots for the fifty existing Primary and Secondary Education centers in the city. The councilor in charge, Lisandro Vieytes, has announced that the call for participation in various activities has been opened for this year, including orienteering in April, beach soccer and beach volleyball in May, school cross-country in October, and a ‘mini-marathon’ scheduled for June. This initiative, according to Vieytes, is being reintroduced after a pause due to the pandemic and with the addition of new sports facilities for its organization. The main goal of these games is to continue promoting sports activities among children, especially outdoors, with the added benefit of free transportation provided by the council.
