Exploration of Polar Seas and More at ‘Marcientífica’ Event This Week
The ‘Marcientífica’ outreach program continues this week with four new events. The first session, taking place today, Monday 24th, at 7:00 PM at the Hospital Real de la Misericordia, will delve into the exploration of polar seas. Writer Javier Peláez will discuss the history and future of research in these regions. Peláez, a co-founder of Naukas.com, has received the Prisma Award and is a scriptwriter for TV shows ‘El cazador de cerebros’ and ‘Órbita Laika’ on TVE. He has contributed to radio and TV projects for Radio Nacional de España and Radio Televisión Canaria, and is the author of books such as ‘500 años de frío. La gran aventura del ártico’ and ‘Planeta océano, las expediciones que descubrieron el mundo’.
